45. Yum Yum Vegetable Flavour (cup)

Brand: Yum Yum
Name: Vegetable Flavour
Price: ~1,20 €

Hello. As you may know, we already did a Yum Yum Vegetable Flavour review earlier (see here), but the plastic bag version. This time we have the cup, and there are planty of different things that I want to introduce to you.

First of all, we have some stray vegetable and carotte flakes and corn chunks inside the cup. It's quite a lot, I have to say, compared to some other cup and bowl noodles that I have seen. There is also a bag of  flavouring fat and some chili powder included, which can not be found in the regular plastic bag version. The amount of flavouring surely adds to a better taste.

Well, looking at this blurred picture because the steaming hot steam hit my camera lense makes me hungry again. It just tasted loads better than the simple vegetarian noodles plastic pack. Those were quite good, but with all the extra stuff from the cup, it's so much better. These noodles are absoluely recommendable!

(I also think that the chicken cup contains chicken chunks, etc.)

XXX. A-One Mì Ly Vegetarian Flavour

Brand: A-One
Name: Mì Ly Vegetarian Flavour
Price: ?

Always wanted to know how vegetarians taste? Oh my gosh, this introduction is so whack, I'm gonna punish myself like Dobby. Ok, now I feel better.

If you do understand the German instructions on this cup, it tells you to do totally different things than the English text. Like the German exact amount of water, or the last part of puting more Chili powder into the soup before stiring and serving. At least everything was written correctly, in contrast to this crappy lovely blog, written by two owls. Yes, we are animals of the night, haha. WTF?!?!?!?! I'm obviously a little bit tired.

Three sachets for a lame, boring vegetarian, ramen, not bad...

After adding water to the noodles/powder/oily stuff/vegetable crap, there was a nice smell of Ramen in the air. After some time steeping and mindlessly staring at the cup for 3 minutes, the noodles were still kinda hard, which I noticed by poking them with my chopsticks, which I didn't like. They were al dente and chewable though in their consistence, tasting pretty much like fried noodles, being salty and neatly spiced. The broth tastes surprisingly good, mainly of mushrooms. What I kinda find strange right now is that I wrote on my notes (right after eating these noodles) that there were many vegetable flakes included. I don't see any vegetable flakes in this picture. OMG, what the... what happened?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!??! This is pretty disturbing... Ok, I obviously need some sleep I guess.

Rating: A-. Minus because they're a tad bit boring.

XXVII. NONG SHIM Shin Cup Noodle Soup

Brand: NONG SHIM
Name: Shin Cup Noodle Soup
Price: 1,20 €

These Ramen... I think they are pretty famous among Instant grub fans. Look, even the cast from K-Town eats them! (Check out 5:10) They are from South Korea and pretty pricey, the cup being not even overwhelmingly big for that money. But just wait before you start complaining that you won't be able to eat your fill, you have to try these to join in that conversation first. Like I said earlier, red cups always indicate HOTNESS. Red is evil. Red means pain. Not kidding kids.

even the sachet is dangerously red
There are two sachets included, one with a HELLA lot of vegetable (vide supra), the other one with HELLA red powder. Smelling it before cooking really almost hurt my nasal mucous membrane. If you're a pussy, I recommend only putting in just half the sachet. But eating it like that is really half the fun. And half the pain. Well, embrace the pain, that's what they say. And if you eat it this way, it'll evidence that you're a wimp.

3 min after pouring in the boiling water, there was a dangerous spicey smell in the air. The amount of that vegetable is really impressive, look at all the leek (which I actually hate xP), dried carrot and the fat mushroom chunks (they taste like rubber pieces with mushroom flavour). I dare say that I have never eaten Ramen with that much vegetable included. (I once had some with Uzumaki included, which was pretty awesome and made me go HELLA bananas, but that's a different story that should be told some other time. My sister actually already did a review haha :D)
The noodles are okay, just okay, not really worth mentioning and praising, thick and a little bit too mushy IMO. The broth is HELLA delicious and HELLA hot at the same time. The further you eat that cup down, the hotter it gets, for the bigger chili particels of the powder sinking to the bottom. I almost died when I drank up the rest of the broth after finishing the noodles. Seriously. But it felt good. It was a good pain. Haha.

Rating: Nothing for pussys. Seriously, keep your hands off if you can't stand hotness. But if you do, TRY! THESE! A because they're just fucking awesome.
