46. MAMA Yentafo Rice Vermicelli

Brand: MAMA
Name: Yentafo Rice Vermicelli
Price: 0,50 €

This package of MAMA's Yentafo noodle soup would easily win the prize for kitschiest package/best colour combination. Yentafo is some kind of sauce that originates from Thailand. (And it's PINK!!!! Ermahgerd!)
To be honest, I have little knowlegde about Thai kitchen. I'm sorry. I haven't tried any Yentafo dishes before to be able to make conclusions and comparisons between instant noodle soup Yentafo and real Yentafo, so I'm just rating this soup out of personal taste.

blah. Powder, fat and rice noodles. Nothing special here.

The broth also takes the prize for prettiest/most unexpected colour in noodle soup. It tastes sweet if you only eat the noodles, and more sourish and salty when you drink the broth. It's also a liiiiiiittle bit hot, but almost merely remarkably. The noodles are shitty, though. They do not really get soft, but stay somewhat hard after boiling, although they are so thin. It feels weird when you chew them. The soup would be so much better if the noodles weren't that disappointing.

XXXX. VINA ACECOOK Mi Lau Thai chicken

Brand: Vina Acecook
Name: Mi Lau Thai chicken
Price: 0,50 €

Yo, since I've just been hanging round lately, doing nothing but procrastinating and stuff and being unable to pull my shits together to get up from mah bed/away from the Internet, I thought I could also blog, since it's really been a while, sry.
=____="

So this time we have another guest review, my little brother with the code name 'Long Chicken' (xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD) tried this Ramen. Here's what he thinks of it:

If you think that every fucking Ramen looks the same, you're stupid, cuz it's not true. Look at this one, we have leek, dried onions (which look like brown spots of sh** xD) and white fungus up there, which I have never seen in instant ramen before!!

So my little brother, who is by the time he ate this 60/5+2^3-(32-(4*6)) years old, said this:

'This soup tastes strange.'
'It doesn't... really taste like chicken.'
'Yeah, it's okay.'
'It's spicy.'
'It rather tastes like lemon.'

'Hmm, it doesn't taste like chicken at all, it only tastes sour. It's very lemony.'

So when I asked him to grade this soup, he said 'something between B and C'. When I later came into the kitchen I saw the half-eaten left-over bowl standing there. My mom said that it was probably too spicy for him to finish it. Such a wimp.

Rating: According to the fact that he didn't want to finish this Ramen, this one gets a
C

[To all the dear readers

of our sweet idleness hahaha

XIX. Indo Mie Mi Goreng

Guess who's back!!!
After going through hell during July studying for the exams I'm finally back!
And don't worry, during that whole time, I've been living off on noodles soup, which will be rated here now! :D

First in the game is a continuation of my last post here, if you happen to have forgotten about me... :'(
This is only Mi Goreng by Indo Mie from Indonesia.

Obligatory pic of the package, same as the BBQ one, but white.

Instuctions. Read them! (Especially you, my dumb sis!!!) D<

Again, mix your shits together until...

...it looks like actual shit. Really greasy and shiny shit! o.O

Put microwave-boiled noodles on the plate and stir!!!
Then sprinkle noodle with fried onions from the package and nom away! >w<

So, how was it? (Fortunately I made notes, while eating, which is how I can remember now, duh!)
Fried Noodles? Well, they are more like oily noodles. Really oily and
lovely shinee... *____*
The only good thing about this thing are the noodles, which have the right chewyness and take on the flavour, aka shit paste, pretty good. :3
It tastes artificially sweet and kinda boring after 3 bites. -.-
Unfortunately it's not really something special. I won't be salivating like mad thinking about it or would want to eat it again.... actually I feel like puking thinking about this dish. D8
Fried onion is not bad… also sweet, tastes actually kinda fried, but I'm still suspicious, about what that stuff really is! >.<
The mark is a C

Here's what I did after three bites and got bored:

Much better and you can eat all up, without having to retch every five bites! :D
Be creative and safe you meal!!!

XIII. Yum Yum Wasabi flavour

Brand: Yum Yum
Name: Wasabi flavour
Price: 0,35 €

Here's a review of some Ramen by one of the most famous noodle soup brands in the world, Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum looooooooooooool. They just recently put out a new flavour on the market that I immediately had to try after seeing it. Sounds very strange and freaky to put Wasabi into your Ramen. As if you could put all kind of crazy japanese food stuff together and it would go well with each other and harmonize and taste super yummy. I had to check that. So here we go.

'Hey, Steve-O, the Wasabi that you snorted is now also available in powder-form!'
Keepin' it simple with just one sachet of powder, it was quite disappointing for me at first sight though. Like when you open a present for Christmas and the inside is just lousy (and maybe crappy, too). You get the point? Disappointment.
(The block of ramen is very delicious btw when you eat it like that without cooking, munching it down like a hamburger or something like that. Crispy and salty and yummy. In case you don't have other snacks around.)

I did cook it, though
If you expected this soup to be very hot and fucking spicey, I have to disappoint you. This soup actually is one big disappointment. The Wasabi flavour was authentic, though, but not very outstanding so that the soup had a flair of 'Oh crap I dropped some Wasabi into my Ramen broth (that was simply salty water before) and it kinda tastes weird but okay because I love weird food and will finish this somehow though I might puke from it after the first three bites that I did find so delicious though'. Maybe that's a good point, also. I didn't have the need to puke because the Wasabi flavour was so weak, I was simply bored eating this. And disappointed.

Well, Yum Yum noodles still are pretty awesome, they're always soft, firm to the bite and delicious. It's just the broth that turned this one into such a big disappointment.

Rating: Count the word disappoinment in this review. This soup earns a C
