47. MAMA Oriental Style Instant Noodles Vegetable Flavour

Brand: MAMA
Name:  Oriental Style Instant Noodles Vegetable Flavour
Price: 0,40€

Today is so hot so I don't wanna write much. I have a lot of pictures for you to look at! :D

The yellow bag contains oil, which is very liquid.

I kinda had the feeling that the noodles did absorb a lot of water...

...so I added some more hot water, but the soup was very insipid after that. Better eat it just like that. I have to mention that the broth is really not that special anyways, not really tasting like vegetables to be honest.
I added fried tofu strips for an increased delicious look.

Rating: The soup was pretty much as boring as my review, so it receives a B.

46. MAMA Yentafo Rice Vermicelli

Brand: MAMA
Name: Yentafo Rice Vermicelli
Price: 0,50 €

This package of MAMA's Yentafo noodle soup would easily win the prize for kitschiest package/best colour combination. Yentafo is some kind of sauce that originates from Thailand. (And it's PINK!!!! Ermahgerd!)
To be honest, I have little knowlegde about Thai kitchen. I'm sorry. I haven't tried any Yentafo dishes before to be able to make conclusions and comparisons between instant noodle soup Yentafo and real Yentafo, so I'm just rating this soup out of personal taste.

blah. Powder, fat and rice noodles. Nothing special here.

The broth also takes the prize for prettiest/most unexpected colour in noodle soup. It tastes sweet if you only eat the noodles, and more sourish and salty when you drink the broth. It's also a liiiiiiittle bit hot, but almost merely remarkably. The noodles are shitty, though. They do not really get soft, but stay somewhat hard after boiling, although they are so thin. It feels weird when you chew them. The soup would be so much better if the noodles weren't that disappointing.

45. Yum Yum Vegetable Flavour (cup)

Brand: Yum Yum
Name: Vegetable Flavour
Price: ~1,20 €

Hello. As you may know, we already did a Yum Yum Vegetable Flavour review earlier (see here), but the plastic bag version. This time we have the cup, and there are planty of different things that I want to introduce to you.

First of all, we have some stray vegetable and carotte flakes and corn chunks inside the cup. It's quite a lot, I have to say, compared to some other cup and bowl noodles that I have seen. There is also a bag of  flavouring fat and some chili powder included, which can not be found in the regular plastic bag version. The amount of flavouring surely adds to a better taste.

Well, looking at this blurred picture because the steaming hot steam hit my camera lense makes me hungry again. It just tasted loads better than the simple vegetarian noodles plastic pack. Those were quite good, but with all the extra stuff from the cup, it's so much better. These noodles are absoluely recommendable!

(I also think that the chicken cup contains chicken chunks, etc.)

44. Thai Delight Hokkien Noodles

Brand: Thai Delight
Name: Hokkien Noodles
Price: 2,20 €

Today we have a kinda different sort of instant food: The almost-done-only-add-sauce-noodles that come in a stylish chinese-restaurant-take-away-noodle-box-package. There are also different dishes with different packageing colours form Thai Delight. If you read further, you'll find out why these will never be featured in our blog.

The noodles look and taste like spaghetti, which I disliked. Hokkien mee actually contains noodles which are fried. These noodles had not the slightest hint of frying aroma. Instead, it contained another package with a dark brown sauce with baby corn pieces. The instructions are pretty simple, put everything in the box and heat in the microwave for 2 min.

So after 2 min of microwaving, this came out: The noodles still stuck together, and the sauce smelling really weird, kinda sweet and salty. I also screamed for my mommy because I thought I prepared the noodles wrong. After stirring firmly, the noodles kinda got apart (not really). They are a little bit too dry, even with the sauce. And they tasted like common spaghetti. The sauce is reaaaaaaaally weird, it tasted... not good. Too sweet, slightly peppery, and with an eerie after taste that I can't really depict. It was really not good. The corn pieces were pretty tasteless, too, which was very disappointing. I'm glad to know that I will never ever try any other Thai Delight noodle boxes!
